Dr. Pawan Faris Awarded BBRF NARSAD Young Investigator Grant 2025
 
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Pawan Faris, Assistant Professor in the dep. of Brain and Behavioral Sciences and in the Neurophysiology Unit led by prof D’Angelo, has been awarded a NARSAD Young Investigator Grant from the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (BBRF) for 2025.
 
BBRF Young Investigator Grants are awarded annually to support promising early-career scientists as they establish independent research programs in neuroscience and psychiatry. The award provides $70,000 over two years to support innovative research.
 
Dr. Faris received a Basic Research award for her work, which seeks to define the role of cerebellar dysfunction at the microcircuit level in schizophrenia-related cognitive deficits.
